Please note: we will have limited appointment times during the week of May 27-31. However, you are encourage to visit us and speak to an Advising Assistant if you wish to:

  • Declare your program
  • Receive information about basic program requirements
  • Request or hand in a form (Record of Degree Program, Program Change, Letter of Permission, Course Overloads and Late Adds)

Island Medical Program Information Sessions

These sessions are designed for prospective applicants who are considering a future application to the UBC MD Undergraduate Program. All are welcome to attend - no need to sign up in advance!

The Academic Advising Centre promotes student success by supporting undergraduate students in taking responsibility for achieving their academic goals.

Working collaboratively, we assist undergraduate students in understanding academic requirements, educational opportunities, and university policies and procedures.

We contribute to students achieving personal, career and life goals by providing high quality advising services, timely and accurate academic resource materials, and information for students and the broader campus community.

Important Dates

May 04, 2013 – 100% Fee Reduction and Add Deadlines for Term 4 (May 1- May 24) courses.

May 09, 2013 –100% Fee Reduction for Term 2 (May 1-June 27) courses and 50% reduction for Term 4 (May 1 - May24) courses.

May 15, 2013 - 100% Fee Reduciton and Add Deadlines for Term 1 (May 1-August 7) courses.

May 16, 2013 - Last day to drop Term 4 (May 1- May 24) courses.

May 22, 2013 - 50% Fee Reductionf for Term 2 (May 1 - June 27) courses.
