Heritage Resource Conservation

A detailed survey of the philosophical, ethical, and practical aspects of physical conservation as they apply to the management of heritage resources in the world today. Topics include principles and history of heritage conservation and the role of conservation in the management of heritage resources, levels of intervention including preservation, restoration, rehabilitation and reconstruction, and the conservation process.
Note: Credit will be granted for only one of 487B, 487.
