Applied EthicsThe Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Human and Social Development jointly offer an interdisciplinary program in Applied Ethics. This program is designed to provide students with the resources needed to deal with a wide range of ethical problems they will encounter in their personal and professional lives. Students may obtain this Minor by completing the requirements specified below. It is designed to supplement any undergraduate degree or any professional degree program. Students wishing to take a Minor in Applied Ethics should contact the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences Advising Centre, c/o department of Philosophy. Minor in Applied Ethics Program RequirementsStudents are required to take:
At least 3.0 units must be at the 300 or 400 level. No more than 6.0 units from any one department may count toward the Minor. PHIL 232 and 337 may not be counted toward both an Honours, Major, General or Minor degree in Philosophy and a Minor in Applied Ethics.
