An exploration of the origins, consequences and legacy of U.S. involvement in Vietnam from 1941 to 1975. Analysis of American policy in the context of the Cold War and Third World nationalism and assessment of the impact of the Vietnam War on American society and the broader region of Southeast Asia.
Note: Credit will be granted for only one of 316, 318 (if taken in the same topic).
