Acoustics of Music

Units: 1.5, Hours: 3-0

The physics of musical sound and the acoustics of musical instruments. Timbre, scales, tuning and temperament. An introduction to psychoacoustical issues.

Prerequisites: 201B or permission of the School.

Undergraduate course in Music offered by the School of Music in the Faculty of Fine Arts.
