Introductory Quantum Physics

Experimental basis of quantum mechanics. Atomic structure and wave properties of matter. Time-independent Schroedinger equation - wavefunctions and probability. Introduction to the Hydrogen atom.
Prerequisites: 112; 120 and 130; or 122 and 125.
Pre- or corequisites: MATH 200, 201.
Undergraduate course in Physics offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science.
