Computer Science/Mathematics Work ExperienceThe Computer Science/Mathematics Work Experience program is intended for students who are enrolled in at least 3 units of 300- or 400-level courses in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics in any Major, Honours or Option degree program in either the department of Computer Science or the department of Mathematics and Statistics, or in any combined degree program offered entirely within these two departments. Students participating in the Work Experience program mudt pass two co-op work terms, that is, a total of eight months of full-time, discipline-related work under the supervision of the Computer Science/Mathematics Co-op Program. These work terms are subject to the General Regulations: Undergraduate Co-op, with the exception that work term credit by challenge is not permitted. Students passing the required two co-op work terms will receive a designation of Work Experience on their academic record and transcript. Participation in this program is limited. Students should contact the Computer Science/ Mathematics Co-op Office to discuss entry into this program. |
