Introduction to Quantitative Methods in Geography

Application of statistical techniques to geographic problems. Topics include hypothesis formulation, sampling strategies, parametric and nonparametric statistical tests, statistical models. All laboratory exercises are computer based.



  • Either 3 units of 100- or 200-level GEOG courses, or 3 units of 100- or 200-level EOS courses.

Undergraduate course in Geography offered by the Department of Geography in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
