Thank you for agreeing to be a marshal at convocation.
Academic procession marshals assemble the members of the academic procession (faculty members, members of Senate and Emeriti) in Clearihue Building D134 thirty minutes before the ceremony, and guide them through the procession and onto the stage in the University Centre Farquhar Auditorium. The ceremony is approximately two hours long and you are invited to join the students at the reception afterward in the University Centre cafeteria.
Chief marshal coordinates and directs all procession marshals and student marshals and assembles the students in the Clearihue C Wing one hour before the ceremony. The chief marshal guides the students through the procession in the University Centre Farquhar Auditorium and controls the flow of students as the cross the stage. The ceremony is approximately two hours long and you are invited to join the students at the reception afterward in the University Centre cafeteria.
