Convocation schedule

The University of Victoria Convocation ceremonies take place twice a year in November and June.

Spring 2012 Convocation will take place June 11-15. As of June 2012, another ceremony will be added to Spring Convocation, for a total of nine ceremonies.

The additional ceremony has been added due to the increase in the number of students graduating, and so that the University can continue to accommodate the graduating students and their guests within the seating of the Farquhar Auditorium.

Information regarding attendance for Convocation, tickets, regalia rental and photographs will be forwarded to all graduating students by mail in early April 2012.

Students in the Faculty of Graduate Studies will convocate with their respective undergraduate department/faculty.

All Convocation ceremonies take place in the University Centre Farquhar Auditorium.

The Fall 2012 Convocation ceremonies will take place on November 13 and 14, 2012.

Please contact scarlson@uvic.ca or phone 250-721-7445 if you have any questions.
