During the online Convocation registration process, students indicate the number of guest tickets they require. Each student can receive a maximum of three free tickets for their ceremony (subject to availability). Please review the questions and answers below for more information about obtaining your Convocation tickets.

How many tickets can I get?
Each student may request a maximum of three guest tickets to their ceremony (subject to availability).

Can I get additional tickets for my guests?
Any additional tickets will be released at the UVic Ticket Centre (University Centre) one hour before each ceremony on a first come, first served basis.
Maximum of two tickets per person.

There is absolutely NO possibility of obtaining additional tickets in advance of the one-hour period before your ceremony start time.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE CEREMONIES AND EVENTS OFFICE REGARDING EXTRA TICKETS.

How do I get my tickets?
Once you have registered to attend, your tickets will be mailed to the address that you provided with your online registration information. If you have not received your tickets by November 1, 2011, please contact the UVic Ticket Centre directly.

If one of my guests has special needs for seating, who should I contact?
Contact the UVic Ticket Centre to discuss any special needs for seating during the ceremony.

Do all my guests require tickets? Do children require tickets?
All guests (including children) need a ticket to enter the auditorium.

I’m graduating; do I need a ticket to attend?
No, graduating students don’t require a ticket to attend.

If I have extra tickets, what should I do with them?
Please help other students accommodate their guests by returning any tickets you don't need to the UVic Ticket Centre on the day of your ceremony or earlier, if possible.

If I am not able to obtain seating in the auditorium, are there other options available for viewing the ceremony?

The auditorium lobby will have a large video screen set up with a live-feed. This may be an option for parents with small children or guests who could not obtain Convocation tickets.
