Our Film/Performance Encounters program created links with film/performance venues and community members to explore themes of disability. Expressions of disability and illness in film and performance are powerful because they explore both individual and collective understandings of disability, impairment and disabling conditions.
We were proud to collaborate with Star Cinema, Movie Monday and David Roche on this exciting initiative. We hope you were able to join us for one, or all, of our Film/Performance Encounters events.
All films/performances were free or by donation.
