Note: The University reserves the right to cancel courses when enrolment is not sufficient. Preliminary lists of instructors and schedules are subject to change.
Course outlines are posted at the beginning of the term. Course Instructors normally notify registered students if they make any changes to their outline throughout the term. For further information about the Course Outline students should contact the Course Instructor.

Are you looking for course descriptions for all economics courses?

Course descriptions are linked to the UVic Calendar and you should look at the Calendar for the most up-to-date information on courses, program requirements, and academic regulations. Not all courses are offered every year.

Pre-requisite waiver information

If you require a pre-requisite waiver for an Economics course, please make sure you read the following information and complete the Pre-requisite Waiver Form Note: this form is for Economics courses only, for all other courses such as MATH and COM, you will need to contact the Math or Commerce Department directly.

Did you know?

You can get credit for ECON 485, Topics in Economics, more than once in different topics, with permission of the Department.
