Economics at the University of Victoria: the degree of choice!
We offer a variety of courses and programs that are aimed at meeting the diverse interests and aptitudes of our students, see overview. They range from general interest courses that appeal to students wanting to find out more about economics to highly specialized programs for students wanting a career in economics.
The Department has an active Economics Course Union (ECU): a group of undergraduate students who plan and organize student events and activities, represent students in the Economics Department, and staff a volunteer tutor centre. Drop by BEC 339 or contact the ECU to find out how you can take part in these activities or become a volunteer tutor.
