International exchange students
Support for incoming students and student going abroad
The European Studies Program works closely with International Exchange Student Services (IESS) at UVic to ensure that you are well prepared and ready for your term abroad, and to ensure ongoing support throught your exchange.
Find the right fit for you
UVic has agreements with approximately 53 institutions in 20 countries, several of which are European universities.
If you are unsure where you would like to go on exchange, or how to get started, the staff at IESS are incredibly helpful and will assist you in selecting the right match and exploring your options. Please note the deadline for exchanges occuring in the 2012-2013 academic year is January 22, 2012.
Time abroad can be as educational as any course work. Experiencing a different culture will deepen your understanding of others. And it's a great way to see the world, fulfil your term abroad requirements as part of the European Studies concentration, or earn credits towards your program of study.
Dr. Stefan Seidendorf of the Franco-German Institute in Ludwigsburg, Germany is visiting UVic on January 24th and 25th and will be presenting two seminars: January 24th and 25th.
