Focusing a graduate degree on a European topic

Graduate students in various UVic Faculties and Schools can choose a European related topic for their graduate dissertation. In the past few years, numerous Master and Ph.D students in History, Political Science, Law and Public Administration chose courses and dissertations in the field of European Studies. Although European Studies does not offer masters or ph.d degrees, you can pursue topic on Europe with guidance from our faculty.

The European Studies Program can assist you by offering resources such as faculty referrals, office space, internships, involvement in conferences, and opportunities to study abroad.

Think Doctorate, Think Europe

The European Studies Program is currently supporting PromoDoc, which is an innitiative from the European Commission to advertise their Graduate Programs and help students prepare themselves to study in Europe.
