The university is monitoring the 2009 Influenza A H1N1 situation in Greater Victoria and is following the lead and direction of public health officials to help protect the health and safety of the campus community.

- Wash your hands often with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand gel.
- Cough or sneeze into your arm or sleeve.
- Avoid close contact with sick people.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
- If you develop a fever and cough, stay home and limit contact with others.
