First Nations Partnership Programs: University-based team.

Jessica Ball, M.P.H., Ph.D., brings to this work over a dozen years of working internationally and cross-culturally in innovative projects that incorporate indigenous knowledge and involve community members as full partners in designing, delivering, and evaluating culturally responsive programs of training and human service delivery. Jessica led the program evaluation research project. Jessica led a study evaluating the first 7 partnership programs (1998-2000) and a follow-up study of community capacity building (2003-2004). jball@uvic.ca (brief bio statement)

Corrine Lowen, B.A., has recently completed studies in Sociology and is a recipient of the Canada Millenium Scholars Award. Corrine responds to inquiries about the program and helps with setting up new partnerships and implementing the program in communities.
