I am not in the Faculty of Fine Arts; can I take Fine Arts courses?
You can take all of the History in Art courses, most of the interdisciplinary Fine Arts courses, and a number of the courses from Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Writing. A list of these courses can be found on the Fine Arts’ web page at www.finearts.uvic.ca/elective. Please note that some courses have a date registration restriction for non-majors.

Students interested in History in Art, Theatre, Visual Arts and Writing should contact Anne Heinl, Undergrad Advisor for Fine Arts. Drop-in office hours for advising are 9:30a.m. - 12:00p.m. and 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m, Monday through Thursday. Advising appointments can also be booked 8:30a.m. - 4:00p.m, Monday through Thursday and 8:30a.m. - 12:00p.m. Friday. Advising can also be done by phone or email.
