Giving options for UVic employees
Many UVic employees choose to make a gift, or contribute to a fund of their choice through monthly, quarterly or annual gifts. Please contact the Annual Giving office or a development officer in your faculty or area with any questions regarding fundraising for, or donating to a fund at the university.
UVic employee donations by payroll deduction
Employees can donate to any UVic fund through payroll deductions. At this time, pledges through payroll deductions can only be set up once in a calendar year. To set up pledge of a minimum of $5 per pay cheque, please contact the Annual Giving office by phone at local 6003, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The tax credit is applied up front, reducing the employee’s income tax at the time of donating. In lieu of a charitable tax receipt, the gift will appear as a line on employee T4 slips.
