Hopeful candidates applying for a new job on campus can thank the uHire Development and Implementation Team for UVic’s new state-of-the-art hiring program that helps applicants build résumés from start to finish and keeps track electronically of all postings and applications.
The efforts of the eight-member team will now save innumerable staff hours, thousands of stacks of paper and hundreds of efficiencies for years to come.
The seven UVic staff members kept their customers in mind throughout the process. The new program has already saved an estimated $100,000 in costs. uHire went live on May 1, 2007, after three years of hard work by this outstanding group of individuals.Back to Navigation
