- You can can use 'un'so' to link together two commands.
Lhxilush 'un'so' t'ilum. "Stand up and sing." Hwts'e'nutsum 'un'so' hwiyuneem'. "Sit down and listen."
- The pronoun ch can follow the first verb (but not the second).
Lhxilush ch 'un'so' t'ilum. "You stand up and sing." Hwts'e'nutsum ch 'un'so' hwiyuneem'. "You sit down and listen."
- You can also use 'un'so' to link together longer commands addressed to two or more people. The pronoun tseep follows the first verb.
Lhxilush tseep 'un'so' t'ilum. "You (pl.) stand up and sing." 'Umut tseep 'un'so' hwiyuneem'. "You (pl.) sit down and listen."
*Note: The Cowichan Tribes write mi 'ew-wu. However, we will always spell this phrase m'i 'ewu in these lessons.
