Reappointment
Important dates: Reappointment
- 15 April: Chair must notify Members who must be considered for reappointment or a Continuing Appointment in the following academic year.
- 10 September: Member must submit documentation to Chair including updated C.V. and Teaching Dossier.
- 15 October: Chair of Reappointment Committee to send recommendations to the Member and Dean
- 15 November: Faculty Advisory Committee to send recommendation for Senior Instructor Continuing Appointment recommendation to Member and Dean
- 1 December: Dean to send recommendations to Member and VPAc .
- 15 January: President to send recommendation to Member.
Tenure and Promotion
Important Dates: Tenure and Promotion Which Confers Tenure
- 15 April: Chair must notify Members who must be considered for tenure in the next academic year. A Member who intends to apply for tenure in the next academic year must inform the Chair in writing.
- 15 May: RPT must provide Member with a list of Department's nominated referees; Member must provide RPT with a list of referees.
- 1 June: Member must select a minimum of 2 referees from RPT list.
- 15 June: RPT must select a minimum of 2 referees from candidate's list. Chair then writes to referees to ask if they will serve.
- 10 September: Member must submit documentation to Tenure and Promotions Committee including updated C.V. and Teaching Dossier. Chair sends material to referees by 15 September.
- 15 November: deadline for Tenure and Promotions Committee to send recommendation to Member and to Dean.
- 15 December: deadline for Faculty Advisory Committee to send recommendation to Member and to Dean.
- 15 January: deadline for Dean to send recommendation to Member and VPAc.
- 15 February: deadline for President to send recommendation to Member.
