Scholarship in Scottish Studies
The St. Andrew's and Caledonian Society Scholarship will provide an award to one or more undergraduate students in the Faculty of Humanities completing an honours thesis on a topic related to Scottish history, literature, culture, and thought. Preference will be given to students who are members of the St. Andrew's and Caledonian Society or are directly related to a member of the Society.
- 500-750 word essay outling the candidate's proposed research project in the field of Scottish Studies
- an additional 500-750 statement explaining the candidate's academic background, activities and interest in the field of Scottish Studies
- two letters of reference from instructors familiar with the candidate's work
- unofficial transcripts
