Student and Ancilliary Services

Student and Ancilliary Services departments offer individual and group programs and services in support of students' physical, social, emotional and spiritual health while they pursue their academic and career goals. The departments include:

Financial Aid

Financial aid in the form of bursaries, grants, loans and work-study positions is available to students on the basis of financial need. Scholarships, medals and prizes are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit or excellence. 
Awards for undergraduate study are administered by the Scholarships Office of Student Awards and Financial Aid
Awards for graduate studies are administered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Ombudsperson

The Ombuds office is an independent, impartial and confidential resource for students (current, former or prospective) and other members of the University community. The Office provides information and guidance on students' rights and responsibilities, and UVic regulations and procedures.
