TD Indigenous Student Career Transitions Program
Application Deadline: June 1st
The Office of Indigenous Affairs is once again accepting applications for the TD Indigenous Student Career Transitions Program, which opportunities for 4th year Indigenous students or recent graduates to develop personalized transition plans to enhance their educational and career journeys. Students receive financial awards based on the number of Career Options they incorporate into their Career Plans, while gaining "on the job" skills through mentoring, job shadowing, and reciprocal learning options. A select number of seats are also reserved for graduate students.

Indigenous Dedicated Housing
Application Deadline: June 22nd
UVic's dedicated Indigenous housing includes 1 cluster unit (4 singles; gender specific, first come-first serve) and one family unit (2 bedroom + den townhouse). Applicants must be Indigenous UVic students with a minimum of 9 credits per academic year. Applicants must be living outside the Greater Victoria area to qualify.

Indigenous Adult Orientation
Come experience and explore university life!

The Indigenous Adult Orientation program is for prospective Indigenous undergraduate and graduate students aged 19 and older who would like to explore their post-secondary options at UVic and experience university life. Participants will stay on-campus in residence for four days, have campus tours, meet Indigenous students and faculty, and be introduced to a variety of programs and courses.
Applications are open to Indigenous residents of British Columbia over 19 years of age. There are 20 seats available and the program includes travel reimbursements, accomodation, and food.

Indigenous Graduate Student Orientation
Come explore graduate student options and university life!

June 18th - 21st, 2012
The Indigenous Adult Graduate Student Orientation program is for potential Indigenous graduate students who have completed their undergraduate degree, or are currently in their 4th year, and would like to explore their graduate studies options at the University of Victoria. Successful applicants will stay on-campus in residence for four days, have campus tours, meet Indigenous graduate students and faculty, and participate in a variety of graduate studies preparation workshops.
Applications are open to Indigenous (including First Nations—status/non-status, Métis and Inuit) citizens of Canada, and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 15 seats available, and this program is fully funded to include travel reimbursement, accommodation and food.

Mini-University Summer Camp
One week at UVic... A Million Possibilities!

The Indigenous Student Mini-University Summer Camp gives you a taste of university life! A week filled with academic, physical, creative, cultural and social activities—it is a great way to learn about the benefits of a post-secondary education and envision your educational options in the future. Application is open to Indigenous students (including First Nations—status/non-status, Métis and Inuit) in Grades 8 to 12 who reside in British Columbia.
*Cost: $50.00 non-refundable deposit with application package.
