Congratulations,

Indigenous Grads of Fall 2009!

On November 9, 2009, 14 Indigenous Graduates were celebrated in a special Recognition Ceremony at the First Peoples House. Graduates represented were from diverse areas of specialization, including Social Work, Child & Youth Care, Aboriginal Language Revitalization, Fine Arts and Environmental Education.

Special thanks to Speaker Al Sam (Tsartlip Nation), Butch Dick & Bradley Dick for the Opening Prayer and leading of graduate procession, Tom Child and Kwakwaka'wakw Singers and Dancers, the Tzinquaw Dancers, and to AVP Jim Dunsdon for sharing a welcome address.
