Forms and Frames each allow you to do things on a web page that could not otherwise be done. They don't have anything to do with each other typically, so we will organize this workshop in two independent halves.
In the first half of the the session, we will examine the use and creation of forms. We'll look at some typical applications, then analyze a simple form, then we'll each construct a simple form and test it.
In the second half of the session, we will examine the use and creation of frame sets. Again, we'll look at some typical applications, then analyze a simple frame set, then we'll each construct a simple frame set and test it.
I can't tell you everything there is to know in the time alotted, so what I intend to do is give you a sense of what each of these web features is used for and a basic idea of how they are created. You will then be in a position to determine if you have any applications for this kind of technology and an idea of the kind and amount of work it will take to implement them.
