17th WPLC (a.k.a. 19th NWLC Proceedings) Paper Submission

The Working Papers of Linguistics Circle at UVic invites presenters from the 19th NWLC in March 2003 to submit papers for publication in the 19th NWLC Proceedings. A style guide (in PDF format) and template for Microsoft Word are available for your from here. If you have any problem with the zip file or downloading it, please e-mail gradling@uvic.ca.

Conference Location

The conference will take place in the Centre for Innovative Teaching located on the UVic campus. Session One papers will be presented in room 110, while Session Two papers will be presented in room 116. Those of you unfamiliar with the UVic campus can use this map to find the CIT.

Call for Papers

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Victoria is honoured to host the 19th Northwest Linguistics Conference on theoretical and applied linguistics for the year 2003. The goal of the conference is to bring together research from the different fields of linguistics in a chance to share work on theoretical or applied linguistics. The NWLC is a graduate student conference. Abstracts from faculty are welcomed, but graduate students will be given priority.

People can register at the conference. Registration fees are $10 for presenters and free for non-presenters.
