Mom was thrilled to see Dr Zhan again and all the young people on this delegation from her hometown Shandong. She kept asking them to stay longer.

I visited Shandong U during my Study Leave in 2000 to do research and give some lectures. I took mom and Angela with me during the trip. During the visit, president Zhan Tao invited me and my family for dinner. This was taken right after the dinner. Present at dinner were also Director Zheng Qian of Office of Foreign Affairs of Shandong U, President Zhan’s daughter and her friend.

Both Angela and Dr. Zhan were having a great time. It is obvious Dr. Zhan is very good with kids. One can also see the kid in himself in those pictures.
