On October 8th @ 7:30p.m. join Susan Lundy and Eric Akis for a night celebrating the harvest in Ample Autumn! As a special treat these authors are joined by Lyn Bull, proprietor of Silverside Farm & Winery, who will provide a tasting of Silverside’s famous berry wines.

Open Space, in partnership with the University of Victoria Department of Writing, will host Emily McGiffin as part of its literary series Open Word: Readings and Ideas. McGiffin will read from her new book Between Dusk and Night at Open Space on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. followed by an interview by local writer Carla Funk. Books will be available for sale, and beer and wine will be served at a cash bar.
