Lynne Van Luven has taught creative writing at the University of Victoria for the past 15 years. She has a PhD in Canadian literature from the University of Alberta and is the editor of five creative non-fiction anthologies, including "Somebody's Child," co-edited with Bruce Gillespie and forthcoming in September 2011 from Touchwood Editions. Prior to her teaching career, she was a print journalist and now puts those skills to work as a part-time freelance editor.
