This portable P.A. system powers a microphone and has adjustable volume, treble and bass. It is portable in that it is fits into an over the shoulder bag, but alas, it still needs to be plugged into an AC outlet. Once the system is plugged in, turn on the power switch at the back of the unit and you are ready to go.
