Meditation is a simple spiritual practice that helps in:

  • Reducing Stress
  • Developing inner stillness
  • Increasing self awareness
  • Opening the heart and mind to Divine Presence

 

The meditation style uses a simple mantra (prayer word) meditation. At each session there is time for instruction, practice and questions. All people are welcome. Drop in once, or make this a regular part of your university experience. This is a free service to the campus community through UVic Multifaith Services. A meditation community for students and friends.

Join us on every second Thursday at the Multifaith Chapel to hang out with other meditators, learn more about meditation and other contemplative practices, and to share in a simple soup and bread meal sustenance.  We meet after our regular 4:30, “Learn to Meditate” group.
