Features performances from students across campus as well as the feature performance: Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre Group (VACT)
VACT's mandate is to produce quality plays where Asian-Canadians take culturally or artistically significant roles. At present, Asian-Canadians are often cast in stereotypical roles, e.g. delivery boys, grocers or kung fu experts. VACT wants to dispel these stereotypes by producing leading and/or supporting roles where Asian-Canadians are depicted realistically in the performing arts.
