PACIFIC AND ASIAN STUDIES
STUDENT RESEARCH AND EXCHANGE FUND ANNUAL AWARD
The Department of Pacific and Asian Studies is pleased to announce the annual competition for the Pacific and Asian Studies STUDENT RESEARCH AND EXCHANGE AWARD worth $500.00. This AWARD is intended to support advanced language and cultural study or thesis research in the Asia-Pacific region.
Criteria for Eligibility:
• Student majoring in Pacific and Asian Studies or enrolled in the M.A. program in Pacific and Asian Studies
• For an advanced language exchange program or research for an honours thesis or M.A. thesis
Applications should include a brief essay describing the proposed program of study or research, the financial requirements of the proposed program, other sources of funding secured or to which the applicant has already applied, and how the proposed program fits into the applicant’s overall academic goals. The total submission should be no more than 2 pages in length.
