Biography
History: B.A. (Calgary), M.A., Ph.D. (Toronto), associate professor. Joined this department in 1996. Now adjunct.
Interests: history of ideas, metaphilosophy, ancient Greek philosophy.
Publications: Plato as Artist (2009), Wisdom and Metaphor (2003/2008). A new edition of Lyric Philosophy (1992) will be published in 2010. She has also published six collections of poetry, including Wittgenstein Elegies and Songs for Relinquishing the Earth (winner of the Governor General's Award for Poetry). An essay called "Lyric Realism: Nature Poetry, Silence, and Ontology" appeared recently in The Malahat Review.
