Jessica Rourke

I obtained my Bachelor’s of Arts (Honours) as well as my Master’s Degree in Social-Personality Psychology from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. I am currently wrapping up my Ph.D. in Social-Personality Psychology here at UVic. My primary research interests lie in the field of forgiveness. I have previously explored the different motives that perpetrators have for seeking forgiveness, as well as the types of behaviours that they engage in to do this, and how it relates to their personality. For my Ph.D. dissertation, I have turned my attention towards forgiveness of the self and have developed and am implementing self-forgiveness workshops in the community.
