Research interests

Hello, I am a second year Masters student in the Clinical Lifespan program at UVic. I take a special interest in conducting community-based research in the area of children’s adjustment following divorce. As part of my thesis, I have been collaborating with a local community-based organization which provides support services to families experiencing separation and divorce, in an effort to devise a comprehensive evaluation of its leading parent-child program. Questions of interest are whether program goals are being met, particularly in the area of children’s perceptions of feeling “caught in the middle” between their parents, as well as the relationship between parents’ satisfaction from the program and children’s post-program adjustment. Broader areas of interest include children’s risk and resiliency, child maltreatment and women’s mental health.
