Research interests
Children and adolescents’ peer group relationships, social responsibility and competence, prevention program development and evaluation, quantitative methods. My specific interests include: (a) contextual factors (e.g., family, classroom, school, and neighborhoods) that predict and protect against difficulties in peer relationships (b) covariates of peer victimization trajectories (e.g., depression, aggression, emotion regulation, social responsibility) as precursors of psychosocial adjustment (c) intraindividual, interindividual, and interclass variations in prevention and intervention program effects (d) subtypes and structural stability of peer victimization.
