Assignment 2 (assigned Jan 12, 2012)

1.    Assignment for next Kolb day (1 week today) (Jan 20th)

a.      Three Key Points (As before 1-2  sentences per key point) on Ch 2

b.     1 Study Question (and your answer)

c.     1 Discussion Question (no answer required to be submitted)

d.     Descriptions of SQ’s and DQ’s

a.      SQ – exam-type questions suitable for studying from. Answer should require specific knowledge from readings. Should be what you think would be a good question to ask about the material on a test. (High-level but not a no-brainer. I might put one or two on a test.) Making this up should help you see you what a DQ is not.

b.     DQ – open-ended (no right answer, though some answers may be better than others). Seeks opinion, based on knowledge gained from the readings and life (and maybe other courses).  Perhaps asks about implications or applications. Or quality of experiment or conclusions.

2.    Assignments for next non-Kolb day (Monday) (2-part, 1 page each)
Due next class.
