1. What should I wear for my Sailing Lesson?

• Waterproof/ Windproof Jacket

• Rain Pants
• Shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
• Warm cloths that can get wet if its cold.
• You will get wet.

2. How do I join the mailing list?

3. When are my sailing lessons?

• Check your reciept on the Vikes Recreation website, or check the sailing club calendar.

4. What kind of boats do you sail?

• We sail Collegiate FJ's the North America standard for competitive sailing at universities and college. They are two person boats with two sails.

5. Where is the UVic Sailing Compound?

• The UVic Sailing Compound is in Cadboror/Gyro park, just down the hill from UVic. It is about a 5 minute walk from residence, and is right on the water!

6. How do I join the race team?

All we ask is that you know how to rig and sail a boat already, and are willing to commit at least one evening a week to practices, and attend some regattas.
