PHYS 120 and 130 are intended for prospective Honours or Major Physics and Astronomy students with a strong background in Physics and Mathematics. PHYS 102 is an algebra-based survey course aimed at students in the life sciences. PHYS 110 and 111 are a calculus-based survey of Physics which satisfies the requirements for most programs that require first-year physics including Engineering. If you are not sure which 3.0 unit sequence to take, we recommend PHYS 110 and 111.
