Population Research Group
The Population Research Group (PRG) at the University of Victoria involves an interdisciplinary group of scholars drawn from Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Mathematics & Statistics and Sociology. It is devoted to promoting research and training in demography and population studies. Coming from a wide variety of disciplines, associated faculty and their students have varied research interests including aging, health and HIV/AIDS, historical demography, immigration, family and household, fertility and contraception, and mathematical modeling.
