The Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability acts as facilitator and resource for students, faculty, staff and administration working towards ecological, social and economic sustainability at the University of Victoria. As a part of the 2007 Strategic Plan, the office aims to implement stewardship practices that serve to make the University of Victoria a leader in sustainability.

Foundations for Success

The Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability is located within the portfolio of the Vice President of Finance and Operations and works closely with students, faculty, staff and the community in advancing sustainability. It undertakes through its activities to improve the quality of life on campus and in the community by promoting triple bottom line perspectives within decision making across the institution.

To ensure a successful foundation for implementing the University of Victoria Sustainability Policy and this operational action plan, the Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability operates under the advice of cross-campus Sustainability Advisory Committee.
