At the University of Victoria undergraduate students are encouraged and supported to take the research they engage in seriously. In the Technology and Society Minor Program, our interdisciplinary focus means that students have the opportunity to work together on very interesting, provocative, and innovative projects that might not otherwise see the light of day.

In our core courses, students are invited to think through core problems of technology in application: we recognize that our students already have much to bring to the table as researchers in technology.

Check this page regularly for updates on featured undergraduate research projects, and for information about our ongoing speakers' series – one that brings faculty, students, and community members together to think and talk our way through some of the most interesting and pressing questions of technological innovation.
