Clocks in the new Continuing
Studies Building rely on global positioning
system satellites and FM radio waves. Accurate
and never out of sync, the wireless system
uses a transmitter that takes GPS time settings
and broadcasts them to the building’s
network. Batteries for the clock system last
for more than five years.
