Fewer summer jobs mean more competition

UVic’s 3,500 co-operative education students are starting to feel the pinch of a faltering economy as the number of summer job postings is declining. Though the number of co-op jobs has been roughly the same until now, when compared to previous years, co-op co-ordinators say students should be prepared for a more competitive job market this summer.
