PEA SEMINARS COMMITTEE REPORT

NOVEMBER 2009

The Seminars Committee was pleased to present three seminars this past year.

· A record number were in attendance for “Demystifying Your PEA Pension,” presented by Susan Service, Director of Pensions and Investments.

· There was also a large turnout for the “Real Estate & Mortgage Seminar,” presented by representatives from Re/Max Camosun and Mortgage Architects.

· A smaller though engaging crowd enjoyed “Travelling Lightly & Safely: Tips for Women Travelers” presented by Dr. Margie Mayfield.

I would like to thank the committee members Allison Eddy, Adrienne Holierhoek, Jacquie Hovgaard and Amelia Santos for their unwavering commitment, creative efforts and contributing their valuable time.

We always welcome any suggestions of topics and speakers from the PEA membership.
