BC TRANSIT's PROPASS: Your permanent ticket to ride

The idea is simple - an annual bus pass purchased at work by payroll deduction for a minimum of one year. The PROPASS program is now being marketed to all major employers in the Victoria region. I've just signed on to the UVic PROPASS program through BC Transit. For approximately $48 a month (save $10), you get a permanent bus pass with your photo on it. If you withdraw from the program before a year is up, you must pay back the money you saved.

To get a PROPASS, you must go to UVic Campus Security, and fill out the form authorizing a payroll deduction. Then you have to go down to BC Transit, and have your photo ID created.
